Engineering/Production/Mixing
Evangistrum
The Evangistrum is an cooperative audiovisual instrument informed by resonance theory. Desgined to be played by two performers the instrument uses commercially available midi controllers and was built using Unreal Engine. Read more about the project here.
Vertical Resonance
In this performance, the Evangistrum is utilized together with a Church Organ to explore the concept of “vertical resonance”: the existential axis of Hartmut Rosa's theory of resonance.
Architecture as media
If a building could talk, what would it say? The audio from this film is taken from contact mics attached to two ski jumps which dominate the skyline of Falun. The structures act as resonators, absorbing environmental vibrations and reflecting them back into their surroundings. Buildings have a voice, we just need to be listening.
